Perch Perkins is the news anchorman for the Bikini Bottom News. He first appeared as a background character in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. His first appearance in an episode was in Once Bitten, and he has been a recurring character since. He has appeared in purple and, more commonly, orange.
He was also seen in "Who Bob What Pants?" reporting on the mayhem caused by SpongeBob's disappearance, but as he was doing his job, he was "kicked" out by Reg saying "Literally!" He also appears in at least one episode of Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years and at least one episode of The Patrick Star Show.
