The Krabby Patty from the episode Krusty Krab Training Video.

The Krabby Patty is a dish served at the Krusty Krab, very similar to a Hamburger. Ingredients include Lettuce, Tomatoes, Patty, mustard, ketchup, secret sauce, two buns and onions. According to the trivia book a Krabby Patty costs $2.99, or $0.99 cents on Wednesday and comes with fries and a shake. The most common price of the Krabby Patty is $1.00, but for employees, it costs 25 cents. If the Krusty Krab is a fine restaurant, it costs $25.00. It was not until 1979 when it was started to become sold. In the episode Friend or Foe?, a whole lot of history about the Krabby Patty was revealed like that it was made by accident.

Originally, Krabs and Plankton decided to make a burger stand so they can make money like Stinky who sold Stinky Burgers. Soon, the Health Department closed down Stinky Burgers . Krabs and Plankton started to sell the burger but kids couldn't stand it because of its awful taste. The burger poisoned Old Man Jenkins and he died. Soon, Plankton and Krabs fought over the recipe. Krabs knock over a couple of ingredients and discovered the perfect patty batter. This is how Krabs and Plankton become enemies

Plankton tried to steal the Krabby Patty formula since 1979, and failed each time. He has more than 26 plans behind him. The most successful plan was Plan Z, which was to freeze Mr. Krabs by stealing King Neptune's crown, framing Mr. Krabs, and then stealing the Krabby Patty formula.

Revealed in the episode Mermaid Man vs SpongeBob it can cure people of hypnosis!

Ingredients

The ingredients to make a Krabby Patty are seaweed-seed buns, the patty (the ingredients used to make this part of the burger are unknown, but they turn sponge yellow when they expire as revealed in "The Krusty Sponge" and can make a person feel sick, look like they're fish-shaped copies of SpongeBob, and grow distended bellies), onions, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, pickles, ketchup (or Low-Salt Ketchup as featured in Bummer Vacation) and mustard. When shown from a far way away, the Krabby Patty appears to just be lettuce and patty. Although the Secret Patty Sauce first appeared in Not Normal.

How to Prepare

To prepare a Krabby Patty, the grill must be heated to exactly 298 Degrees Fahrenheit. Then the patty has to be flipped on the grill and not burned. the order of putting the ingredients is: bottom bun, mayonnaise, patty, lettuce, cheese, onions, tomatoes, ketchup, mustard, pickles, and top bun.

Taste

The Krabby Patty is extremely delicious, and a person can actually hold it down. It'll be the greatest thing that their taste buds have ever experienced. Even Squidward loved it so much that he cried when SpongeBob got rid of the trashed Krabby Patty. However, the Kelp Shake was more popular while it lasted. SpongeBob once made a very nice Krabby Patty that he kept for a very long time, and it was an ordinary Patty.

Dangers

It is revealed in Just One Bite that if a person eats too many Krabby Patties, the nutrients will go straight to their thighs, and then they will explode. Squidward jumped into the Patty Vault and ate hundreds of Krabby Patties. SpongeBob warned him not to eat them all, but he ignored the warning. Soon, all of the Krabby Patties went to Squidward's thighs; soon after, his body exploded. In the episode: Krusty Towers, Patrick and SpongeBob voraciously ate 50 Krabby Patties, but they did not explode. The most likely reason that they did not explode is that they each consumed less than 50, while Squidward blew up after consuming hundreds. In 20,000 Patties Under the Sea, a giant Sea Monster ate 640 Krabby Patties but did not blow up. This is most likely because he is much larger than the citizens of Bikini Bottom, therefore it would take much more nutrients to make him explode. He was also sleeping for 79 years. In The Krusty Sponge, it is revealed that a person cannot eat them if they turn crisp black or spongey yellow because this may cause them to get sick (the black patty will probably cause death unless treated and the yellow patty will cause a person to feel sick, develop distended stomachs, and turn yellow with green spots). In To Love a Patty, SpongeBob got sick after Patty became rotten.
