Perch Perkins is the news anchorman for the Bikini Bottom News. He made his first appearance Ripped Pants, In the SpongeBob SquarePants Movie and Krusty Krushers where he is purple for some reason, and the episodes Once Bitten and The Pink Purloiner, where he is orange. In The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, Ripped Pants, and The Pink Purloiner, where his suit is blue for some reason, and the rest of the episodes where his suit is orange.
He was also seen in "Who Bob What Pants?" reporting on the mayhem caused by Spongebob's disappearance, but as he was doing his job, he was "kicked" out by a thug who complained about the mayhem.
