Monty P. Moneybags is the world-famous art collector from Artist Unknown. Squidward considers him a role model for his art, which is terrible. Monty is greatly impressed by the statue SpongeBob makes (which Squidward said was his own). At the end of the episode, Monty tells a recreation center janitor that he is the greatest artist who ever lived.

- While "Moneybags" is used in several pop culture situations, the most famous may be Uncle Moneybags, from the board game "Monopoly". This may be a reference, as Monopoly's Moneybags also has a mustache.
