Plot

SpongeBob constantly annoys Squidward (as usual) when he wants to play a game. When Squidward shouts angrily at SpongeBob he will never play with him, SpongeBob makes a toy Squidward instead. Squidward is happy at first that SpongeBob won't bother him, but the toy Squidward starts to impress people with talents far greater than the original Squidward's. Eventually he takes Squidward's job (then his own house and possessions), dances for the Krusty Krab and is paid $1,000,000 for a dancing act. Squidward is furious and starts to attack Mini-Squidward. Then a man shows up. He takes Mini-Squidward to be a star and it had taken Squidward's dream. SpongeBob then tries to cheer Squidward up by showing Mini-SpongeBob

Trivia/Goofs

  • This episode aired in Germany, then in the UK before the US.
  • In the UK, this episode aired along with "The Pink Purloiner".
  • This is the fifth time a Squidward model has been seen, The first time was in Squidward, the Unfriendly Ghost, as a wax sculpture, the second was in The Paper, as another wooden dummy. The third was in Wormy, as a finger puppet, and the forth time was in Dumped as a life-size wooden statue.
  • Mini Squidward is based on Little Squiddy from the Season 1 episode The Paper.
  • The music heard when SpongeBob and Mini Squidward dance is part of Gioachino Rossini 's famous piece, The Thieving Magpie (La Gazza Ladra): Overture.
  • In one scene when mini Squidward is dancing, SpongeBob's arm is not there working the puppet.
  • When Squidward was saying the things that Mini-squid "stole", if you listen closely you will hear him mutter the F*** word under his breath! (wow, and it's not even censored!)
  • It should be noted that when the fish said Squidward had a bad attitude, most other fishes didn't say much about his attitude in other episodes except in Fools in April nor did he show any attitude at the register in previous episodes.
  • It seems that Squidward's talents can be well-liked if he isn't doing it. Because when Squidward said his joke, the customers hated it, but it could've been hated due to lack of energy, charisma, and/or they could see he was not in the mood to entertain them and the customers liked it when mini-Squidward said the joke. Also lack of talent is not a way to describe Squidward's dancing, it's more of ripping-off or posing, because he was doing the exact same moves as mini-Squidward (even though this is not true since that's his moves) and size has nothing to do with dancing good.
  • Mini-Squidward is made of wood, so to destroy it all Squidward had to do is step on his head or burn it. He could also flush it down the toilet due to his size.
  • During the scene where Squidward is gardening, the flower he is holding switches from being in a cup to not being in a cup.
  • Weird how no one notices SpongeBob's arm when he makes Mini Squidward dance!
  • When Everyone Danced Liked Mini SquidWard It Is Similar To The Skeleton Dance
  • It is revealed that Milo J.Finkerfish manages Kelpy G who was seen in The Thing.
  • SpongeBob's game he offered, "Squidward says" is a reference to the Popular game, "Simon Says".
  • It is revealed that SB and Patrick like to play 'Mahjongg' the popular Chinese Game.
  • SpongeBob is revealed to like Majongg he says it in a Chinese accent. This is ironic because Majongg is played in China, and India.
  • When Squidward shakes SB and when the games fall out, one of the game boards looks similar too the Arabian game "Mancala"
