The Main Drain is an episode from season 7.

Plot

It starts out at the Krusty Krab, when SpongeBob gets a krabby patty out of the freezer. When SpongeBob was about to cook the patty, the grill was filthy. So he clean up the grill and when he was done, he slipped on the water, which came out of the sink that was running. SpongeBob places a "Wet Floor" sign and just in the moment that SpongeBob checks the sink, Patrick came in the kitchen and tripped on the "Wet Floor" sign and threw the sign away, then checks up what SpongeBob was up to. SpongeBob then realizes that the sink was clogged up by the drain plug. When SpongeBob was about to pull the drain plug, Mr. Krabs rushed into the kitchen, warning SpongeBob to not pull the drain plug. Mr. Krabs then tells SpongeBob and Patrick about a scary story about the "Main Drain", which he describes two kids finding a giant drain plug. The kids pulled the plug, causing the whole sea to end. Mr. Krabs will not tell where the Main Drain is, so he could keep them from finding it. SpongeBob and Patrick goes through town to find advice about the Main Drain. They first ask Plankton, but he pretends to not know where it is for the same reason of Mr. Krabs. Then they found Old Man Jenkins, they asked him where the Main Drain is located, but he does not know where it is. They made transportations to find the drain faster, and they finally found it. But Patrick plans to pull the plug and SpongeBob warns Patrick to not pull it. At that moment, Mr. Krabs and Plankton rushed to the two, only to reveal that the two kids was Mr. Krabs and Plankton who pulled the plug. SpongeBob and Patrick signed in relief when Patrick accidentally pulled the plug; the four tried to escape, but the sea came to an end, sucking everyone in Bikini Bottom down the drain. The plot concludes that it was only SpongeBob reading a story to Patrick.

Trivia/Goofs

This is the second time Mr. Krabs and Plankton are seen as kids. The first time was in Friend or Foe.
In Friend or Foe Mr. Krabs was poor. How could he have a sailor suit?
Mr. Krabs is shown wearing a sailor suit as a kid in "The Krusty Krab training video"!
If everything and everyone in Bikini Bottom were sucked into the main drain, how did Bikini Bottom, Mr. Krabs, and Plankton get out since they all appeared in this episode AFTER the plug was pulled?
This episode is the only appearance for SpongeBob to use part of his tongue.
Only appearance for dirty grill.
How can the water that SpongeBob was slipping on get out the work station when he made a path of water?
The title card music is the same as that of New Fish in Town.
