Plot
It was a beautiful morning in Bikini Bottom. SpongeBob goes to Sandy's house to ask if she wanted to play sand castles with her. They both attempt to take a 6-hour walk to the beach as the "6 Hours Later" time card appears. They finally get to the beach when Patrick appears. Sandy overhears SpongeBob telling Patrick about the treaty. This, she cuts SpongeBob's castle into smitheries. SpongeBob cries as Sandy apologizes to SpongeBob. SpongeBob, however, attacks Sandy. The rivalry Starts again!

- This was the first episode to premiere during Nickelodeon's "The Bob Squad."
- "Sand Castles in the Sand" is a parody of "Castles in the Sky."
- This is the 2nd episode to have a "6 Hours Later" time card. First was SpongeBob Meets the Strangler.
