"Squidward the Unfriendly Ghost" is a SpongeBob SquarePants episode from season one. It premiered on September 25, 1999. Squidward is proud of having just finished his wax sculpture of himself and declares he has "conquered all artistic medium" (referencing a large diversity of art styles and reproductions of famous pieces which all have Squidward for subject). While he goes to take a bath, SpongeBob and Patrick throw a shell with which they are playing frisbee into Squidward's house, and it hits the sculpture. SpongeBob and Patrick think they've injured Squidward, and after several humorous attempts to "resuscitate" him, they believe that Squidward is dead.
