Plankton's Labrador
Plankton's Labrador is Sheldon J. Plankton and Karen's pet dog. It was seen in the episode Plankton! in the room before the analyzing room. Plankton calls him his LAB, and he is shown in realization. SpongeBob is afraid of him. The lab can be seen on a massive TV in the Chum Bucket. It is unknown where the lab lives since it can't breathe underwater but it is known that it lives in a suburban area somewhere above the water.

It is revealed that Plankton has a pet Labrador Retriever. As he is controlling SpongeBob via mind control, they walk into a room and Plankton proclaims the room as his lab loudly. In the room, there is a large theater-like screen showing a video of a Labrador above water, barking in a seemingly suburban-like area.

Plankton's lab also appears on the third SpongeBob SquarePants level in the console version.

A 3D version of the lab appears in the Chum Bucket during the boss fight with Karen.

Numerous pictures of the lab can be seen in the Chum Bucket on a computer screen near the laboratory in the SpongeBob map of the game. The pictures of the lab are from the episode "Plankton!".

- In the rest of the episodes, when Plankton walks through the "kitchen door," he goes straight to his laboratory, not seeing LAB first.
- LAB has no real name, though the end credits of "Plankton!" list the dog as Alex.
- This is a pun, as when Plankton is taking SpongeBob to his laboratory, he walks in this room and he says, "This is my lab," and then he walks over and says, "This is my laboratory!"
- It is unknown how a Labrador could survive underwater. LAB could possibly be a hologram.
- It has also been seen in Nicktoons Unite!
- It could be a competer with worms as it could be a Sea Dog which is a sea version of the one from which is like the Sea Bear and the Sea Rhinoceros.
