Plot
Sandy goes to the moon for a vacation but SpongeBob wants to give her a "goodbye" sheet cake, so he gets on the rocket with her just as she was about to blast off. SpongeBob and Sandy then fly to the moon and land after Sandy saved the ship from crashing when the sheet cake got caught in a vent on the rocket. SpongeBob and Sandy do "moon-crater boarding," and SpongeBob's move goes wrong when it makes the rocket's fuel tank leak. SpongeBob and Sandy need to fly home before they are trapped on the moon forever!
Trivia/Goofs
- Moon-crater boarding tricks: Flipadeedoda, Texas Tail Grab, 720 Nut Job, Tour de Saturn Stargazer, and Waahhh!!!
- This is the third appearance of the moon. The first was in Sandy's Rocket, and the second in SpongeHenge.
- SpongeBob says "I'm ready!" for the first time in a few years!
- SpongeBob's famous line from Sandy's Rocket, "Moon Ride! Moon Ride! Moon Ride!" is almost repeated in this episode. Instead, SpongeBob says, "Moon Trip! Moon Trip! Moon Trip!"
- This episode is possibly a remake of Sandy's Rocket.
- Most of this episode (The moon's surface, the rocket *in motion* and Jupiter) is animated in 3D.
- Sandy's suit she used for fixing the liniarity drive looks like a Gripley Suit from Lego Battles.
