Plot

Plankton has another plan to get customers. This time he uses a Plankton Robot/ChumBot to kidnap customers. He succeeds but when he reveals that they now have to eat at the Chum Bucket. The Customers get angry calling Plankton's food "Fast food", and Plankton a "Twerp". They leave and Karen says that the Customers were right. Plankton then gets angry and calls Karen a "Nagging Software" and leaves.

Mama Krabs comes in to see Mr. Krabs. Mr. Krabs hides his money so that she Can't see it and shoos her out. Plankton gets upset with living with Karen, but he spots Mama Krabs, and falls in love. Karen gets shocked about that but Plankton had enough of her and turns her off.

Mama Krabs gets a Hat she says to Mr. Krabs she always wanted from Plankton and she says she's going on a Date that night at the Krusty Krab. Mr. Krabs is happy for her but that night he becomes horrified when he hears that the Date is Plankton. Mr. Krabs tries to kick Plankton out, but Mama Krabs goes to the Chum Bucket with Plankton telling Krabs to let her live her own life.

The Next day Plankton is cleaning a Picture of Mama Krabs, and Mr. Krabs storms in and tells him that Plankton is dating Mama Krabs so he could get the formula. Plankton doesn't know this so he finds a plan. He goes to the Krusty Krab where he offers his hand in Marriage to Mama Krabs. However she turns it down. Plankton gets furious and tells her to give him the Formula. He gets punched out by Mama Krabs and Plankton gets in trouble though when he lands on Karen's on switch.

Trivia/Goofs

This is the only episode where a very minor character (Mama Krabs) is in a major role.
This is the third episode where SpongeBob, the main character, has a minor role and has nothing to do with the episode. The first 2 episodes are SB-129 and Plankton's Army & after many episodes New Leaf was when SpongeBob Said about 8 lines.
During the confusion scene at the Krusty Krab, SpongeBob yells out his first name. This is a reference to Shrek 2 as Donkey does the same thing. First time was Imitation Krabs.
In The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, Plankton loves being married to Karen because he enjoys her and agreed to be Karen's husband, but in this episode, Plankton hates Karen and calls her a nagging software. But it is possible his feelings for her changed by then. But also, just because Karen annoys Plankton, it does not necessarily mean he hates her. All husbands and wives argue once in a while.
In this episode, Mr. Krabs claims that the Krabby Patty recipe is an old Krabs family recipe. However, it is revealed in Friend or Foe? that it was Mr. Krabs himself that created it.
The title is a reference to Mother-In Law, Father-In Law, Sister-In-Law, Brother-In-Law, Son-In-Law, Daughter-In-Law, Uncle-In-Law, Cousin-In-Law, Aunt-In-Law, Grandfather-In Law, and Grandmother-In-Law.
SpongeBob only has 5 lines of dialogue.
When Plankton and Mama Krabs are on their date at the Krusty Krab, if you listen closely, you'll hear the same music from Mr. Krabs and Mrs. Puff's date from the episode Krusty Love.
Mama Krabs is not ready to be in love with Plankton, maybe she was married with Robot Plankton or her original husband (years ago).
How can plankton get married to mamma krabs, hes already married to Karen.
It is unknown of what Plankton did with his picture of Mama Krabs (He was cleaning it up before Mr. Krabs stormed in) after she rejected him as her date when she realized that Mr. Krabs was right and telling the truth.
Mr. Krabs may be lying when he says everybody in his family knows the recipe for The Krabby Patty because it is revealed that he and Plankton made their own recipe in Friend or Foe?
