Sardine's Sundries is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. In Nelson's words, "We never close, because time is relative!"

Everything is apparently free at Sardine's Sundries. When SpongeBob apologized to Nelson for not having any money, Nelson emphatically stated that they don't accept money, stating their goal is to help all towards their "quest for happiness, or in your case, Fun Parks." As for how he stays in business, Nelson simply says, "Trust fund."
