- Old man Jekins appears to be alive and healthy in this episode,even though he died in the 1950's in the Season 5 episode "Friend or Foe".
- Through out season 9, SpongeBob is colored darker than normal this must be due to the show switching to HD thus making the contrast higher and the colors more vivid.
