Plot

Jim, the original fry cook visits the Krusty Krab, making Mr. Krabs pay more attention to him than SpongeBob depressed. Back then, the Krusty Krab had class and everything was great, even for Squidward (he had hair!). SpongeBob asks Jim if he would train him to be just as good as a fry cook as Jim. So Jim tries to train SpongeBob, but he did not do well. Jim then continues to get more attention because he missed.

So SpongeBob writes a resignation to Mr. Krabs because he thinks that Jim is taking SpongeBob's job back. But before he leaves, Jim sadly decides to tell SpongeBob the reason why he left The Krusty Krab. He left because Mr. Krabs refused to give him a raise because when he asked Mr. Krabs for one, he just laughed at it to be a joke which angered Jim. Jim then also says he's only there to visit, not take SpongeBob's job. He congradulates Mr. Krabs for finding a good fry cook. Jim gives SpongeBob good luck and says he'll be better when he quits, and Jim leaves, and SpongeBob was happy and went back to fry cooking.

• Patton Oswalt guest voices as Jim.
• It is revealed that Spat has a built-in ballpoint pen.
• Jim left the Krusty Krab because Mr. Krabs did not give him enough money.
• This is the third time where Phil and Lil Dinner Party.
• This is the first time we ever see Angelica Pickles with bear.
• The picture of Betty on the Best Bear Ever portrait showed what Men blue Hair looked like when he came back instead of what he used to look like when he worked there.
• Susie probably took Tommy Pickles's place in the first episode Tommy Pickles and Great While Thing/And Winner Is.
• The title card is actually Party Table on a Food.
• When Mr. Krabs says "Well I'll be cooked in butter!", this is a reference to when in Wishing You Well where Mr. Krabs wishes to be 'steamed and served with a side of melted butter'.
