Plot
SpongeBob and Patrick wants to go to a party hosted by Craig Mammalton. However, Craig says they has to be tan, so he heads to Patrick's house and turns it into a tanning bed. He tells Patrick to set it to 15 seconds but Patrick leaves with a group of girls and SpongeBob stays there for 2 hours causing him to become "Sun Bleached". Soon, after several unsuccessful plans, Patrick's caramel sundae splashes on SpongeBob. He eventually goes to the Party only to end up with his "Sun Bleached" skin to reappear after the coating on it cracks and falls apart. However Craig Mammalton says that sun bleached skin is the ultimate tan of them all. They dance for 2 hours in the sun only to turn into dust.

Trivia/Goofs
- In the episode: Walking Small, SpongeBob gets really tanned in the sun but he never turned in to dust. Also, SpongeBob fell into the deep fryer in the episode Nature Pants and SpongeBob did turn into dust but the next shot, he was back to normal.
- How could the caramel stay on SpongeBob if he is underwater?
- Patrick placed two strips of Kelp Jerky on SpongeBob's teeth when the title card music from Jellyfish Jam appears.
- Harold says to SpongeBob, "Do you hug your mother with that skin?" The quote is a variation of the quote "Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?" as said by the junkman in the episode Sailor Mouth.
- The elder fish, kids, and babies have tans, but tans are bad for them because it can cause sunburn or even skin cancer.
- How can a fish turn into a bacon strip at the beginning of the episode when they done it in 3D?
- When SpongeBob gets sun bleached his body shrinks. This can be seen by his loose speedos.
- Also, when he is sun bleached, Patrick takes a piece of his skin off, but at Squidward's House, it's back on.
- Second time Patrick is attracted to women. The first time was in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.
- That was SpongeBob in the same blue speedos he had from SpongeGuard on Duty.
- Third episode where Harold has an Australian accent. The first was Squirrel Jokes. The second was Band Geeks.
- You can obviously tell Patrick is stupid when he leaves his house when he knows SpongeBob is in the tanning booth.
- Why would the people at the party want to dance while getting tanned if they are tan enough?
- If the fish's eyes melted, how can he and how did he come back if they had melted?
- After SpongeBob got sun bleached, when he stayed under Patrick's tanning bed too long, his voice sounded crackled and dry. But after he left Squidward's house, his voice was back to normal.
- Craig Mammalton is doing the same thing as Larry the Lobster, Grubby Grouper, Reg and Don the Whale.
- Squidward doesn't appear at the party even when he taunts SpongeBob that he (SpongeBob) isn't going to the party.
- The first time Spongebob got dried in Tea at the Treedome, second time from Squirrel Jokes, but this episode he got dried in sun bleach.
- No sea creatures are harmed or sun bleached during the filming of this episode.
