SpongeBob Timeline

This is the timeline of SpongeBob's universe. It says the episode (or part of the episode) that took place during that time. And what important happened.

Millions of years ago

SB-129, Squidward invented the sport of jellyfishing. Atlantis Squarepantis, the Atlanteans came from their native planet and blew the oldest bubble.

A few centuries later

Ugh!, SpongeGar, Patar and Squog discovered fire.

Middle Ages

Dunces and Dragons, the two chosen ones came, and King Krabs invented Krabby Patties. Atlantis Squarepants, Atlantis dissapeared. The first Neptune dynasty takes throne of Bikini Bottom after the Krabs dynasty looses power

Victorian Age (1800s)

Rule of Dumb, the Stars take power of Bikini Bottom. Pest of the West, SpongeBuck deafeats Dead Eye and becomes sheriff. Rosy Cheecks discovered oil. Great-Great Grand Pappy Krabs invented the spendthrift billfold system. Patrick Revere warns the people about the mollusks. Grandpappy the Pirate, Redbeard Krabs makes a pirate crew. The Stars loose power, and the second Netune dynasty take the throne.

1900s

The Great Snail Race, 1901, the Great Snail race is started with triple L

20s-30s

Mermaidman and Barnacleboy are born. Mermaidman and Barnacleboy IV, in 1937, Mermaidman first used the utility belt.

40s-50s

Friend or Foe?, on November 30, 1942, Eugene Krabs and Sheldon Plankton were born. They both make the Plabs Burger which causes Old Man Jenkins Sr. to die in c. 1950. In the same year, Stinky Burgers was closed for good and Mr. Krabs rediscovered the Krabby Patty secret formula. Krusty Krab Training Video, sometime in the 50s, Mr. Krabs bought a bankrupt retirement home called the Rusty Krab. Hooky, in 1959, the Chum Famine swept across Bikini Bottom

70s-80s

Plankton's Army, in 1979, Plankton had his first attempt to steal the Krabby Patty formula. The Original Fry Cook, Jim joined the Krusty Krew. And he quit at least 2 years later. The Fry Cook Games, in 1980, the fry cooks games as started, and Mr. Krabs and Plankton won gold. Seen on SpongeBob's licsence in Sleepy Time, on July 14, 1986, SpongeBob was born. Patrick was born on the same year (presumably).

1990s

Chimps Ahoy, in 1998, Sandy moved to Bikini Bottom. Help Wanted, in 1999, SpongeBob joined the Krusty Krew. Reef Blower-Karate Choppers took the rest of 1999.

2000s

2000, SpongeBob Pulls the golden spatula in Neptune's Spatula, Sleepy Time-Christmas Who? take place. 2001, DoodleBob is animated in Frakendoodle, the 21st Fry cook Games occur and SpongeBob and Patrick tie in The Fry Cook Games, Survival of the Idiots-Sandy, SpongeBob and the Worm take place. 2002, The Algea's always Greener- Clams take place. 2003, the 102nd snail race occurs in The Great Snail Race, with Rocky winning, Sellie coming in second, and Gary DQed, Mid-Life Crustacean-I had an Accident take place. 2004, Krabby Land-Pranks a Lot take place. 2005, Fear of a Krabby Patty-SquidBob Tentaclepants takes place. 2006, SpongeBob and Patrick find a way to the 12th century in Dunces and Dragons, the star dynasty re-takes power in Bikini Bottom but after a while, the Neptune dynasty returns to the throne,Krusty Towers-The Gift of Gum take place. 2007, SpongeBob and Patrick find the other 50% of the Atlantean Amulet, the others go to Atlantis along with them and Patrick destroyed the oldest bubble. SpongeBob creates the SpongeStones. Friend or Foe?-Stanley S. SquarePants take place. 2008, House Fancy-Ditchin' take place. 2009, Grandpappy the Pirate-Patties with Eggs take place. SB-129, in 2017, Squidward goes into the freezer and literally, makes history. The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, in 2029, Neptune XV looses his crown, SpongeBob and Patrick have to go to the forbidden Shell City, Bikini Bottom is under totalarian rule by Plankton, and Mr. Krabs is threatened to be excuted but is spared.

4000s

SB-129, in 4017, Squidward arrives into the future.
