Plot

The new Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy trading cards are on sale, and SpongeBob is determined to get the #54 super special rare talking card. He's stunned when Patrick immediately finds the card without even trying. And to make matters worse, he doesn't treat it with the care and respect SpongeBob believes it deserves. Partrick then lets SpongeBob have the card if he gets to use it until nightfall. Patrick is too careless with the card and once he gives it to SpongeBob, it disintergrates in his hand, making SpongeBob cry. Patrick then lets him have the other four cards and SpongeBob realises that they're the super rare #54 cards. Patrick tells him that they were in the pack he brought.
