Owner
The owner of the Krusty Sponge has always been Eugene H. Krabs.
Origin
When Gene Scallop interviewed the Krusty Krab and said that SpongeBob's Patty was so good, Mr. Krabs turned the Krusty Krab into a SpongeBob theme thus creating "The Krusty Sponge"!
Progress
Everything in the restaurant was SpongeBob-themed. There was SpongeBob drinking straws, napkins, ice cubes ,which melted, and yellow "Spongy Patty" and also Mild Bobby Sauce and Tangy Spongy Sauce. There was a SpongeBob train ride right outside the eatery. The ticket costs $1.98 - without a safety belt. But this time, Squidward was the fry cook, and SpongeBob drove the The Krusty Sponge Fun Train. Krabs sold the moldy patties for $2.98 (Originally $1.98).
Defunct
The Spongy Patties poisoned everyone and turned them into poisoned fish with sponge color. Mr. Krabs was framed by Judge Horace A. Whopper, and The Krusty Sponge Restaurant was shut down for a day, except for the train ride, so that Judge Horace A. Whopper could get free rides, although it is never seen in other episodes. It is presumably the Krusty Krab again.
