The Mermalair is an expensive base under the Shady Shoals Retirement Home. Its two main inhabitants are Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. There is no obvious reason for this placement, other than the home was built over it to camouflage it from prying eyes. There are multiple ways of getting in and out, such as the garage where the Invisible Boat Mobile is parked and the slide under the couch where Mermaidman spends most of his life watching television.
