The Metal Detector has three appearances in the Episodes:Walking Small, Selling Out and Penny Foolish. It is used by Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob.
In the Episode Walking Small, SpongeBob is using it, but then a fish comes by and says that his Metal Detector broke, and he asks if he could borrow SpongeBob.In the Episode Selling Out, Mr. Krabs uses it too find Money, but then spots the Krabby O Mondays and starts to work there.
In the Episode Penny Foolish he searches for the Penny that SpongeBob has, but it turns out that it was a $500 Bill.
