- This is the first SpongeBob DVD in which all episodes were from a single season.
- This wouldn’t happen again until the 2006 release of Lost in Time.
- Likewise, the VHS equivalent only contains season 3 episodes. No subsequent VHS would only contain episodes from one season until 2005 with the second-to-last VHS, Where’s Gary?
- This is also the final SpongeBob DVD to have the episode titles appear at the beginning of the closing credits, as DVDs from Home Sweet Pineapple onward would have each episode’s title card appear before the credits.
