Trivia

  • This is the first SpongeBob DVD in which all episodes were from a single season.
    • This wouldn’t happen again until the 2006 release of Lost in Time.
    • Likewise, the VHS equivalent only contains season 3 episodes. No subsequent VHS would only contain episodes from one season until 2005 with the second-to-last VHS, Where’s Gary?
  • This is also the final SpongeBob DVD to have the episode titles appear at the beginning of the closing credits, as DVDs from Home Sweet Pineapple onward would have each episode’s title card appear before the credits.
    • As such, this is the last SpongeBob DVD to have silent versions of the United Plankton Pictures logo and Nickelodeon "Haypile" endcap (DVDs from Home Sweet Pineapple until the "Haypile" endcap was retired would use the closing theme over both).
  • This is the first SpongeBob DVD that does not use the animated Paramount DVD logo since that logo’s introduction.
    • Only the first two movies used the Paramount DVD logo from there on.
