This episode aired in Greece on September 28, 2020, before airing in the US.
This episode was originally scheduled to air in the United States on January 18, 2021, alongside its sister episode, Lighthouse Louie; however, due to concerns over the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic (as the episode's plot is medical-related), it was pulled and replaced with the US premiere of My Two Krabses.
- However, unlike Kwarantined Krab, which was also temporarily shelved due to the pandemic, it is still available on The Complete Twelfth Season DVD (Kwarantined Krab is not).
In the United States, this episode was first released on The Complete Twelfth Season DVD before airing on TV.
