Patty Gadget
The Patty Gadget is a high tech device that Squidward created to ease making Krabby Patties and to get rid of SpongeBob's job. The Patty Gadget was used in the episode: SpongeBob vs. Patty Gadget. It has 3 levels of cooking speed: Low, Med and High. The Patty Gadget lever cannot be pushed to hard or it will break off and go into frenzy. The Patty Gadget can make 10s and 100s and 1000s of Krabby Patties. However, SpongeBob destroyed the Patty Gadget by making Krabby Patties faster, then collapsed from exaustion, seeming to actually be deceased.
Design
The Patty Gadget is a bluish color, has a big lever, a meter that displays how hard and fast is going and it is made of hard metal. It has a cone shaped roof with a device on the tip of it. In the lower end of the gadget, there is an oven like window that opens up and shoots out Krabby Patties at a "fabulous pace." In the inside of the machine all that can be seen is fire cooking up Patties.
Trivia
- This is the first machine Squidward has made.
- The Gadget ruined Squidward's creating reputation because it got lost to SpongeBob.
- This item, and its episode, can be interpreted as a parody of the American fable, "John Henry, in which a person proves that manual labor is just as efficient (if not more) than a machine of the same role. However, the character in the fable died, thus being replaced by the machine anyway.
