Sheldon J. Plankton is Eugene Krabs's arch enemy. He wants to steal the Krabby Patty Formula, so that his restaurant, the Chum Bucket becomes famous and the Krusty Krab goes down. But in the episode Friend or Foe? we come to know that Mr. Krabs and Plankton best friends were and because of the formula they became enemies!
Sheldon and Eugene were in the same kinder garden and same School and also was in a university.
He lives with his computer W.I.F.E Karen Plankton and a Labrador in his own restaurant. Sheldon stole Karen from a hospital (Friend or Foe?)
According to his analyzer, Sheldon is made up of 1% evil and 99% hot gas.
In Friend or Foe, despite Karen's truth, Plankton really does want the Krabby Patty formula for ruling the world but also Mr. Krabs wants the Krabby Patty formula for making lots and lots of money.

Personality
Sheldon is very jealous, but he is sneaky and nearly arrives to steal the mysterious Krabby Patty Formula. He never arrives it because he is too overhasty and impatient, he cannot wait. He thinks he can outgun everyone and doesn't want to believe that he is small.
Before he was Mr. Krabs's enemy, he was his only friend! Everyone else laughed at him because he is so small and easy to beat him, but because Mr. Krabs was with him he wasn't too angry. But since they are enemies he wants to govern the world and revenge everyone who laugh or laughed at him.
He often rips SpongeBob off, because he thinks SpongeBob is silly and babyish'; also because SpongeBob happens to know the Krabby Patty's ingredients. (He puts upon SpongeBob in episodes like Walking Small or Plankton!.) Plankton is the
main antagonist and main villain of the SpongeBob SquarePants TV series. He is also Spongebob's arch nemesis.
Looks
Plankton is a very small thing. He is a dark green color and is very light. He has two antennae, one in which he broke in the fry cook games. He has one big eye and stubby hands and feet.

Major Plans
- In the episode "Plankton's Army" we come to know that Sheldon tries to steal the formula since 25 years!! He calls all his family to him, so that they can help to steal the formula, but Mr. Krabs fabricates a false formula and Sheldon gets the false one. Plankton and all of his cousins and including Clem who cannot understand the formula run back to the Chum Bucket.
- In the episode which have the same name: "Plankton!" he makes SpongeBob under his control, but SpongeBob resists a bit and because of SpongeBob's vocabulary to describe the Krabby Patty, Plankton falls in an analyzer and not the Patty. Plankton becomes trapped inside Karen, and tells Spongebob that he'll settle for some Chum Fries.
Plankton's Favourite Dream
- In "F.U.N." SpongeBob learns Plankton to have "F.U.N." and they become friends. Nevertheless, Plankton rips SpongeBob off, so that he gets the formula. But he slams into solid concrete after ripping up the theater.
- In "Imitation Krabs" Plankton arrives to get rid of Krabs for a while, so that he can clad him as Mr. Krabs, but Mr. Krabs returns to the Krusty Krab and stops SpongeBob of giving the formula to the false Krabs.
- In "Culture Shock" Plankton wants to steal a Krabby Patty by conjuring, but he exposes himself with his magic.
- In Bucket Sweet Bucket, he cons Squidward, SpongeBob, and Patrick to paint the Chum Bucket to get the formula, but he
finds out it's just only Mr.Krabs' to-do list, and then his Chum Bucket got destroyed.
- In "Welcome to the Chum Bucket" Mr. Krabs loses SpongeBob by losing in a card-game against Plankton. Now SpongeBob must work in the Chum Bucket. Of course he wants SpongeBob to prepare a Krabby Patty but SpongeBob does not do it. Therefore, Plankton implants SpongeBob's brain in a robot, but it does not make the Patty too and Plankton reimplants SpongeBob's brain in SpongeBob and he gives him Mr. Krabs back but has to give him $50.00 as well.
- In "Krusty Krab Training Video" Plankton steals a Krabby Patty and goes away with a vehicle which looks like an insect, but it is so slow that Mr. Krabs can stop it. "I knew I should have gotten the turbo".
- In "Fear of a Krabby Patty" Plankton learns that the Krusty Krab is opened 24 hours. As a Peter Lankton, he wants 10,000 Krabby Paties. After many days of working without sleeping or resting, SpongeBob gets fear of Krabby Patties. SpongeBob goes to a psychiatrist who is Plankton with false name. Now he tries to get the formula by hypnosis, but he heals SpongeBob. SpongeBob can begin to work again and Plankton has not gotten the formula.
- In "Friend or Foe?" Plankton tells Mr. Krabs he wanted steal the formula, so that they rebecome friends, then they hug each other. Plankton recognizes that the formula in Mr. Krabs’s trouser pocket is and takes it and he and Karen want to disappear and SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs want to hold them up.
- In the "The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie" Plankton arrives to steal the formula and his dream become true. At that he controls Bikini Bottom without SpongeBob, Patrick and Mindy. Plankton nearly arrives to control SpongeBob, but at this he becomes a conjuror with a guitar who plays the Goofy Goober Rock and rock 'n' roll heals all people from being controlled from Plankton and the Chum Bucket is again unpopular and the Krusty Krab is again famous. Plankton also goes to jail.
Minor Plans
- In Party Pooper Pants, Plankton tells Mr. Krabs his note says describe the Secret Krabby Patty Formula when it said Tell Where You Came From.
- In 1979, Plankton asked nicely to Mr. Krabs Can I please have the secret formula? and Krabs refuses.
- in Plankton!, he gets under the Krabby Patty and tries to get out of the Krusty Krab.
- In Plankton's Army, he got out of the dollar from the robot and demanded the formula or else.....uh...I got nothing.
- in Imitation Krabs, he goes under a fish-robot and asks SpongeBob the formula to win $1,000,000.00 (the dollar was fake)
- In Sleepy Time, he was giant and rampaged across Bikini Bottom, and his final target was Gary. Somehow SpongeBob turned into a nail, so that when Plankton stomped on him, he got a hole in his foot and shrunk.

- He constantly loses because, when he thinks that nothing can be between the formula and him, he over estimates himself and he does not get the formula.
- Curiously, he fights with those people who can walk all over him, like in the episode Plankton's Army when he is beat up by a tall man with big muscles.
- In the Nickelodeon dictionary, it says that Plankton's uncle is from Russia and speaks a language called Planktoneese.
- He was in love with Mama Krabs.
- In the episode Krabby Road he was kicked out by Karen.
- In the episode Mermaid Man vs. SpongeBob it is shown that Karen bought a Krabby Kids meal for plankton which includes a Pipsquek patty meaning that plankton has aquired a krabby patty already but planktons objective in that episode was to bring customers to the Chum Bucket.
