- This episode aired in Greece on September 28, 2020, before airing in the US.
- This episode was originally scheduled to air in the United States on January 18, 2021, alongside its sister episode, Lighthouse Louie; however, due to concerns over the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic (as the episode's plot is medical-related), it was pulled and replaced with the US premiere of My Two Krabses.
- However, unlike Kwarantined Krab, which was also temporarily shelved due to the pandemic, it is still available on The Complete Twelfth Season DVD (Kwarantined Krab is not).
- In the United States, this episode was first released on The Complete Twelfth Season DVD before airing on TV.
