Patrick's Inflatable Pants are a pair of pants that appeared in the episodes Patty Hype, The Sponge Who Could Fly, and Karate Star.
Looks
They resemble Patrick's normal shorts exactly, except that these have a built in function that allows them to instantly inflate outwards a few feet, easily enveloping most of Patrick.
In Patty Hype, they have a pull function that, when pulled, causes the pants to expand hugely, like a balloon. The pants also come with a self-destruct feature that makes them irrepairably burst off of Patrick, however, the way this feature is activated is unknown, as the first pair of inflatable pants that Patrick wears seem to burst apart right after Spongebob finishes stating his idea for dyed patties. It's made obvious that the random popping was intentional on Patrick's part, as after his pants burst off of him and he is left naked, he exclaims "Forget my dumb idea! That's great!", implying that he thought his pants were a poor invention compared to Spongebob's Pretty Patties, so he decided to pop them. Since he had no visible means of doing so, this might prove he did the deed with psychic powers.
In The Sponge Who Could Fly and Karate Star, however, Patrick somehow managed to fly without even touching them, providing even more proof towards Patrick's psychic powers.
Features
Made to look exactly like his normal shorts, but very likely made from a different fabric
