The Department of Thoughts appears in the episode: Chum Bucket Supreme. It is a place in Patrick’s head. It is shown that there are a lot of Patrick’s in the Department of Thoughts when Patrick can’t read the Chum Bucket slogan, Chum is Metabolic Fuel.

- It is similar to SpongeBob’s mind where he has thousands of little SpongeBobs that also don’t exist.
- The Patricks inside seem rather intelligent in comparison to the real deal; however, they have no way to deal with the fires that start when Patrick enters deep thought
