Uncle Cap'n Blue is SpongeBob's Uncle and BlackJack's father seen in the Episode: BlackJack Uncle Cap'n Blue is retired. In the episode, SpongeBob said he needs some help from his uncle, he needs a crime fighter like him to save Mother SquarePants, Grandma SquarePants and Father SquarePants from Cousin BlackJack SquarePants. That means Uncle Cap'n Blue must be a police man in his days.

Uncle Cap’n Blue is SpongeBob's Uncle yet he is shaped like a sea sponge (SpongeBob is shaped like a kitchen Sponge). Uncle Cap’n Blue has holes all over his body as do all the SquarePants Family. He is light brown in color. Uncle Cap'n Blue and SpongeBob's teeth look the same. He wears a cap and has a grey beard. His name comes from his Blue Cap that he wears all the time.

• Uncle Cap’n Blue is SpongeBob's only uncle to appear on screen for an episode. Sherm SquarePants had only been seen on a picture but not in person.
• Uncle Cap'n Blue is not deaf, but in the episode BlackJack, SpongeBob is trying to say he needs some help but Uncle Cap'n Blue hears SpongeBob wants to help him as he was doing noisy things, like using a blender.
• Uncle Cap’n Blue can drive a boat mobile and in this episode he owns a boat and gave SpongeBob a ride in his boat to BlackJack's house
• Cap’n Blue lives in a garage mainly, and his house is somewhat next to BlackJack and Mother and Father SquarePants' house.
• His name is most likely a reference to Captain Lou Albano, although they are nothing alike in voice or appearance.
