[edit] Trivia

  • The episodes were also included on the first SpongeBob DVD, Nautical Nonsense and Sponge Buddies; that DVD was released on the same day.
  • "Graveyard Shift" debuted as a never-before-seen, home video-exclusive episode on this release and the DVD Nautical Nonsense and Sponge Buddies.
  • Though this is the first standalone SpongeBob VHS, it's not the first release to feature SpongeBob in general; that would be The Best of Nicktoons 1998, a VHS available exclusively for Nickelodeon Animation Studios employees.
