Plot

After it snows in Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob and Patrick have a snowball fight. Meanwhile, Squidward is trying to rest when SpongeBob and Patrick keep intruding into his House with snowballs. When Squidward finds out that they can knock each others Brains out, Now He wants SpongeBob and Patrick to fight. Then SpongeBob and Patrick sign a Peace Treaty. This, making Squidward mad, tears it up now showing them how to knock each others Brains out. After that not working, He goes Crazy.

Trivia/Goofs

"The Snowball Effect" is also the title of a famous short story by Katherine MacLean.
Running gag: Squidward's fireplace is put out three times by a stray snowball.
When it is snowing, the sky is gray instead of blue.
A few Christmas songs can be heard in this episode.
At the end of the episode, if you listen carefully, the news man says "Bring out those coats and shovels..." while Patrick and SpongeBob are at SpongeBob's House.
Instead of circles, Patrick makes a cube snowball, a pyramid snowball, and a DNA shaped snowball. Later in the episode, a pile of cube snowballs are seen next to Patrick's fort.
Where did the tall tree next to Squidward's house come from? There was never a tree next to Squidward's house before.
