3 Hour Marathon! was an event airing a two-hour marathon of SpongeBob SquarePants episodes from Season 1 that occurred on October 2, 1999 from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

Trivia

This event was the first time SpongeBob SquarePants aired on Nickelodeon the whole 10am hour; however, that wasn't put to permanent use until May 28, 2000.
Even though the marathon was intended to be 3 hours long, it was cut to 2 hours.
"MuscleBob BuffPants" and "Squidward the Unfriendly Ghost" were originally going to premiere on September 25, but were moved to this event; a repeat of "Culture Shock" and "F.U.N." aired instead that day.
The Chaperone and Employee of the Month were originally going to premiere as part of this event, but due to the marathon cutting short to two hours, they were moved to March 8, 2000, when they premiered as part of March Toon Mania.
