Fake Science Monthly is a magazine that SpongeBob and Patrick are subscribed to and believe everything said in it. It's only seen in The Camping Episode. It is best described as a tabloid (although some material in it is true), similar to the National Enquirer or other gossip papers.

Issues Shown

In the episode, only 2 of the many issues are shown. The first issues shows the following article on the front cover: "Sea Bears and Fairy-Tales are Real". The second issue shows another article, entitled: "How to Stop a Sea Bear". It is quite obvious that the magazine has misinformation, but the Anti-Sea Bear Circle is true, as it really does protect one from a Sea Bear.
