Bikini Bottom Yellow Pages
The Bikini Bottom Yellow Pages is a publication featured in the episode The Smoking Peanut. It is a clear reference to the real-life Yellow Pages books, which are telephone directories of businesses, organized by category; these books, first published in 1886 and released yearly, are known for their yellow paper pages (hence the name "yellow pages") and the famous "Walking Fingers" logo created by New Zealand artist Henry Alexander in 1962.
[edit] Looks
The book is red and yellow, with a picture of a Bikini Bell Phone on the bottom.
[edit] Owners
Probably every Bikini Bottomite owns a copy, but only Sandy is known for sure to own one. Until "The Smoking Peanut", Sandy owned a copy of the Bikini Bottom Yellow Pages.
She rips an issue in half (a noted feat of strength is being able to rip a phone book in half) when she gets infuriated over whoever upset Clamu.
[edit] Trivia
- It can be assumed that, like the real-life Yellow Pages books, Bikini Bottom Yellow Pages are published yearly and have similar content to a typical Yellow Pages book.
