Plot

Patrick has a coupon for free ice-cream, but when he gives it to the dealer, he's told the coupon had expired.

Trivia/Goofs

• This is the first episode to feature a free coupon. In previous episodes, it was not a free coupon.
• The episode was released along with Out of the Picture.
• There are 9 pink ice-creams, 11 brown ice-creams and 12 yellow ice-creams in the titlecard.
• In the German dub, the Ice Cream King is voiced by Marco Kröger, the original German voice of Patrick. Kröger was fired in 2011 after a disagreement with Nickelodeon and was replaced by Fritz Rott.
• Squidward is slightly kinder to Patrick than in other episodes, standing up for him when he's about to be fooled by Mr. Krabs.
