Super Bowl LVIII: Live from Bikini Bottom was Nickelodeon's themed simulcast of sister network CBS' coverage of Super Bowl LVIII, which saw the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers play in a rematch of Super Bowl LIV for the National Football League (NFL) championship and with it the Lombardi Trophy, in Las Vegas, broadcast on February 11, 2024. It was Nickelodeon's first ever telecast of a Super Bowl. SpongeBob characters SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star provided live commentary alongside CBS' play-by-play announcers. In addition, two characters from a Nick Jr. franchise/show, Dora and Boots from the Dora the Explorer franchise, explained some rules and events that happened in the game, such as a team going back 9 yards through a penalty. The Chiefs ultimately won the game, and therefore the NFL championship and the Lombardi Trophy, in overtime 25-22; this marked the Chiefs' second consecutive Super Bowl victory.
