Rex is the new pet to SpongeBob, after Gary abandoned Spongebob for Patrick as seen in the episode: Dumped.
Soon to discover Rex isn't such a good pet after all. Rex ignores all of the Tricks that Spongebob tells him to do, except for to stay which he listens to. SpongeBob gave him a lot of praise. When spongebob starts saying stuff (to Gary and Patrick) of how good rex is like: "So loyal! So Trusting! Always by my side!", and after that you see that Rex is at a bus stop and then gets onto the bus and leaves Spongebob. Rex is the same species as Mr. Doodles.
Looks
Rex is a worm, whitch barks like a dog and looks like:
- Rex has two yellow eyes.
- Rex's whole body is light blue, with black lines (whitch worms have).
- In Mermaidman and Barnacleboy V: The Motion Picture, Spongebob ate WORMS!,meaning he actually ate DOGS!!
