Plot
SpongeBob finds at Boating School that Mrs. Puff is sick and a substitute teacher is teaching for the day. Bored with the substitute, Horace gives SpongeBob an idea to trick the substitute into thinking that Horace is SpongeBob and SpongeBob is Horace, as part of a practical joke. SpongeBob reluctantly agrees to join in the prank. Then Horace, posing as SpongeBob, is forced to stay after school since SpongeBob was supposed to stay. The next day, when Mrs. Puff is back, confusion occurs that results in SpongeBob being credited to have passed his test. On the road, police officers say his driving is illegal and when investigating his license, they tell him that he did not pass his test because SpongeBob, posing as Horace, failed his test, while at the same time Horace, posing as SpongeBob, drove and passed the test. When the confusion is cleared up, SpongeBob is exiled from the road back to school.
