Night of the Robot

Night of the Robot is a science-fiction horror movie that SpongeBob watched at the beginning of Krab Borg. It was shown on the television show Creepy Time Theater. As with Slumber Party Zombie Attack, it appears to be a low-budget movie, and it can be assumed that the film is a B-movie. Watching the movie caused SpongeBob to think everyone -- and everything -- near him is a robot.

Plot

Only one clip of the movie, consisting of a live-action man running from a robot while repeatedly screaming in an unconvincing manner, is shown in the episode. The robots in the movie have "piercing red eyes" and "metal pinchers for hands," and they run on batteries, as stated by SpongeBob. The film’s hero teams up with a buddy, according to SpongeBob; together, they interrogate one of the robots. At the end of the film, it’s revealed that the whole movie’s events was just the product of someone’s imagination, suggesting that it may have just been a dream, not unlike the end of the 1939 movie The Wizard of Oz. Little else is known about the movie’s plot, and as with Slumber party Zombie Attack, none of the characters are given names.

• It can be assumed that this film, Slumber Party Zombie Attack and Campfire Massacre 7 have the fictional "S" rating (despite SPZA not being "all that scary" according to Pearl) since Fisherman 4: Revenge of the Hook had that rating; it can also be assumed that the other Fisherman and Campfire Massacre movies are also rated "S."
• It’s unknown if the film was released theatrically, direct-to-video, or was a TV movie (though given the low-budget feel, either of the latter two possibilities may be more likely).
