- This is the first episode of any SpongeBob-related series to air after the 2023 Hollywood labor disputes, which saw the Writers Guild of America (WGA) and Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) go on strike; the labor disputes heavily affected the television industry going into the fall (debuts of new episodes of SpongeBob and its spin-offs were not affected). SAG-AFTRA ended its strike the same day that this episode premiered (the WGA had already ended its own strike on September 27).
- Episodes of SpongeBob and its spin-offs that aired while SAG-AFTRA was ratifying its new contract to officially end the labor disputes don’t count as episodes that aired amid the strikes.
