He appears in the episode: I'm with Stupid where SpongeBob pretends to be dumb for Patrick's fake parents. He was not quite smart himself because he found out at the end that he did not have a son. He is married to Janet.
Looks
Marty is basically an overweight starfish. He is a much darker pink color than Patrick and he wears dark blue pants and a grubby white top that is a little bit small as it shows his stomach. He seems to be as dumb as Patrick as he believes that SpongeBob is dumb and that Patrick is smart.
