Papa Tentacles is Squidward Tentacles father.
It is presumed that he is already dead because Squidward talks about him in past tense. In the episode Krab Borg, SpongeBob tells Mr. Krabs that Squidward's Father never hugged his son. Then Squidward replied: My father loved me very much. This probably means that the past tense used for Squidward's Father is deceased or Squidward's Father now hates him instead of loving him. However, Papa Tentacles does not live together with Mama Tentacles.
