- This is the first episode of the series to animated entirely in CGI.
- The CGI animation was done by Pinreel Inc., an animation production company founded by SpongeBob crew member Adam Paloian (who also wrote this episode).
- The music score was provided by Ego Plum. This is the seventh episode of the series that was scored by him, after Swamp Mates, One Trick Sponge, Broken Alarm, SpongeBob in RandomLand, Goofy Scoopers, and Making Waves.
