The attendants as they appear in the PC game

The Gas Station Attendants (both named Lloyd and Floyd) are characters featured in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie and the movie PC video game. They also appear in the console versions of the video game, albeit only as background characters. In the movie, only Lloyd’s name is revealed, whereas in the PC Game both of them have actual names.

Looks

They are very hillbilly like and wear cap-like hats and black boots (though Lloyd’s boots are brown in the PC game). Lloyd is green and wears a white shirt covered by blue overalls and a red-and-white hat, while Floyd is orange and wears a green-and-yellow flannel shirt, blue jeans held up by a black belt with a golden buckle, and a blue-and-white hat.

Attitude

They are Mockery fish, but in the PC game, they are just neutral.

Roles in movie and video games

Role in movie

In the movie, they are first seen when SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star drive the Patty Wagon to the attendants' gas station. They keep mocking the boys and the Patty Wagon, asking "What’ll it be, fellas? Mustard... or ketchup?!" when SpongeBob requests for the Patty Wagon to be filled up (with gasoline) and saying, in regards to how long SpongeBob and Patrick will last over the nearby county line and after learning that the boys are heading to Shell City, "You two dipsticks ain’t gonna last ten seconds over the county line!" Although the Patty Wagon is quickly stolen by a thug, SpongeBob and Patrick manage to last 15 seconds over the county line (though Lloyd says that they lasted 12 seconds). SpongeBob and Patrick then mock them and leave, while Floyd, thinking the boys will subsequently die, mutters, "They’re dead."

Later that evening, the attendants see Dennis and, regarding his cowboy hat, Floyd asks him "Hey, mister, does that hat take ten gallons?" As the attendants laugh, Dennis promptly rips off their mouths to silence them and drives away. The attendants are never seen again afterward.

Role in PC game

You see them at the county line saying they went to Goofy Goober’s Ice Cream Party Boat last night and got the sheet music for the Goofy Goober theme song to play on his harmonica. Lloyd gets upset because he said that Goofy Goober was his best friend.

The Gas Station Attendants stand laughing at you from beyond the county line, laughing and boasting.
