Mindy
Princess Mindy is King Neptune's mermaid daughter, seen in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.
In the movie, Mindy is King Neptune's daughter. When King Neptune freezes Mr. Krabs, Mindy, due to her soft heart, tries to help SpongeBob and Patrick find the king's crown so that he will let Mr. Krabs live. She contacts SpongeBob and Patrick by a special connection. Mindy gives SpongeBob and Patrick a magical bag of winds to help them on their journey. She was voiced by Scarlett Johansson.

Personality
Mindy is usually portrayed as being very kind, as she helps SpongeBob and Patrick in their journey to Shell City. She detests her father a lot. Additionally, she is very attractive, seeing that Patrick is always dumbstruck by her beauty. She is the only one that believes in SpongeBob and Patrick, even if they are "just kids".
Royalty Connection
Mindy, since she is the daughter of King Neptune, is a princess. In The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, she revealed that one day, she will be the queen of the sea. She knows the names of all the creatures in the sea, in preparation.

Mindy has light green skin. She wears big round glasses and a pink midriff top with a red heart in the middle. She has short dark blue hair with two small yellow hair bows. She wears a golden ring. She has a green tail fin, since she is a mermaid. Also Patrick has a crush on her in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. Patrick says she's pretty.

Story
It is possible that she is Triton's little sister. If Mindy was in the episode, The Clash of Triton, she would've missed her brother as much as her father. Also, she would've wanted Neptune to accept Triton for who he is and might have helped SpongeBob release him. She also might convince Triton that their father misunderstood him. But it could be possible that she was born later, as the movie takes place 31 years, 2 months after the pilot.
