Plankton goes to jail because he was trying to steal the Krabby Patty Secret Formula again. When the cops arrest him, they say they have to keep the Krabby Patty Formula as evidence. When Plankton gets to his jail cell, he realizes he has to share it with Patrick. Meanwhile, Mr. Krabs and SpongeBob pretend they are cops so they can try the secret formula back. When they are walking to the police station, SpongeBob says to a mime "You have the right to remain silent." Then he sees a girl scout selling cookies and asks her if she has a license to sell them. She says no and SpongeBob says that he's taking her away. When they get to the police station, the chief of police says they caught the felon. He asks SpongeBob to go interrogate her. SpongeBob asks Krabs how to interrogate someone. He says "Act tough." Meanwhile, Plankton tells Patrick that there is ice cream in the evidence room, so they escape, but when they get to the evidence room, Patrick realizes there is no ice cream. Plankton tells Patrick he can buy him all the ice cream he wanted if he could let go of him so he could get the secret recipe, but Patrick refuses. Then Mr. Krabs finds the evidence room and walks in when Plankton reaches the formula. Krabs takes it away from it right away. Krabs, Plankton, and Patrick fight each other until a policeman sees them. After SpongeBob confesses to the officer, all four end up in jail, ending the episode.
