The Strangler is a very dangerous man who promised to strangle anyone who turned him in to the police. In the episode, [[SpongeBob Meets the Strangler]], SpongeBob turns the strangler into the police. But the strangler gets away and takes revenge on SpongeBob by disguising himself as a bodyguard pretending to protect SpongeBob from the Strangler. After a while of protecting him, he gets fed up because of the delay of being able to strangle SpongeBob. Many distractions occur, causing the Strangler to have a mental breakdown. This causes him to turn himself into jail.
