The Strangler is a very dangerous man who promised to strangle anyone who turned him in to the police. In the episode, [[Spongebob Meets the Strangler]], Spongebob turns the strangler into the police. But the strangler gets away and takes revenge on Spongebob by disguising himself as a bodyguard pretending to protect Spongebob from the Strangler. After a while of protecting him, he gets fed up because of the delay of being able to strangle Spongebob. Many distractions occur, causing the Strangler to have a mental breakdown.
