The Salty Spitoon is a men’s bar where only the Toughest of the Toughest can enter. SpongeBob does many attempts to get into the Salty Spitoon but he is not strong enough he finally gets in by beating Patrick with no hands. Sandy attemps once and she gets in easily. The bouncer is the great man: Reg.

Trivia
- It might be possible that the Salty Spitoon has inspired the creators of the Movie to add the Thug Tug, which is also a bar for tough men.
- In the episode 'SpongeBob Meets the Strangler', a similar-looking bar's exterior can be seen at one point which appears to be called the 'Tough Tavern'.
- How could ever Sandy get in to the Salty Spitoon if the bar is only for men?
