The Bikini Bottom Police are well organzied and has Police cars, trucks and planes to use. They have many officers and bases. There is no cars parked here and the only person there is un-uniformed Anchovy officer. Although a door behind him is locked and the sound of phones and 911 emergencies can be inside. Their first appearance is in Hall Monitor, and didn't appear again until F.U.N.. They are seen in many, many other episodes.
Spongebob is their #1 enemy, for destroying Bikini Bottom really often, here's the times SpongeBob destroys the city:
- HALL MONITOR: Car crashing in wrong stoplight positions, open-window maniac acts, mailbox shield rampage
- SANDY'S ROCKET: Kidnapping everybody in Bikini Bottom and mistakens them as aliens.
- MRS.PUFF, YOU'RE FIRED: Spongebob does a non-blind folded Boating Exam and destroys the city once again.
- DOING TIME: Spongebob takes a Boating Exam with Mrs. Puff and destroys the city with cherry juice flooding.
- WORMY: SpongeBob panics the entire city that Wormy's going to eat them. Also, meteor showers and fires occur.
- BOAT SMARTS: This time, SpongeBob does not fully destroy the city, but he causes many problems, such as crashes and broken things.
- SANDY,SPONGEBOB,AND THE WORM: SpongeBob and Sandy drive the worm off the cliff, slamming Bikini Bottom as Patrick had decided to push Bikini Bottom.

Enemies
The Police have many enemies who threaten to put their menace into Bikini Bottom's innocence:
- SpongeBob SquarePants: It's all Mrs. Puff's fault on boating exams! Also, they created the company C.O.B.B.U.T.K.S.B.S.P.O. T.R.A.O.O.A.B.A.T: Citizens of Bikini Bottom United to Keep SpongeBob SquarePants Off The Road And Out of All Boats All Togehter
- Sheldon J. Plankton: Tries to steal the Krabby Patty formula to take over the entire world.Also BB's most hated creature.
- Patrick Star: Patrick was also the TattleTale Strangler #2, the first was the original.
- The Strangler: The most vicious tattletale strangler who would mangle anyone. Got arrested because of his fear of SpongeBob.
- Mrs.Puff: Making Spongebob destroy the city occasionally several times. File:SWAT.jpgGET THEM!!
- Mr.Krabs: An often frequent robber of Bikini Bottom. Also robbed the Oyster Zoo and the pearl.
- Squidward Tentacles: One of the most harshest and most hated creatures in Bikini Bottom.
Other Departments
S.W.A.T. Team: While the ordinary police department can't handle serious emergency situations, the SWAT team is available for such emergencies. The SWAT team is seen assisting Animal Control and Hazardous Materials teams. SWAT team is equipped with soldiers armed with harpoons, other soldiers are armed with batons and riot shields. The vehicles used by SWAT team are military helicopters armed with a small metal battering ram and military buses for transport dozens of soldiers. They're also experimenting about The Ick. They also appeared in The Thing after the Animal Control went through a frenzy of catching The Thing. Patrick Star has called the Animal Control and the S.W.A.T. team to catch the Thing immediately. SpongeBob tries to tell them Smelly is just a wild smelly animal! Wild animals don't belong here son. They belong in the zoo! And they placed Smelly or The Thing into the Bikini Bottom Zoo. However, they went back in bussiness the next night when SpongeBob and Patrick tried to get Smelly or The Thing out of the zoo, but managed to escape by going into the sewer hole.
